On assumption of duty as the Director in April 2015, after the expiration of tenure of Prof. O. S. Onifade, the new Director drew up a work plan to serve as guide to move the Centre forward.  The work plan was divided into two broad categories.  The Short Run and Immediate activities and the Medium to Long term Activities.

The Short Run and Immediate activities:  These include all the existing skills as shown below:

  • Textile Design/Production
  • Fashion Designing
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Food Processing/Packaging
  • Floriculture
  • Visual/Graphic and Photography
  • Masonry/Building Maintenance
  • Furnishing/Interior and External Decoration
  • Fingerling Production (Fisheries)
  • Shoe Making
  • Cosmetics
  • Forex Trading
  • Fabrication
  • Woodwork
  • Apiculture


Also included in the Short Run and Immediate Activities are;


  • Intensive Awareness/Demand Survey in the immediate Community
  • Web site and Brochure
  • Visit to Institution
  • Round Table meeting and Retreat
  • Market Survey
  • Entrepreneurial Action in the University
  • Entrepreneurial Training for would be Entrepreneurs
  • Sourcing for fund to actualize the mandate of the Centre


The Medium to Long Term Activities:  These include:


  • Establishment of Abeokuta Business School
  • Establishment of Science Technology Parks
  • Establishment of Technology Incubation Centre (TIC)
